Join the North Dakota Conservation TeamCareer Intern ProgramThe United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in North Dakota has periodic openings for positions such as Soil Conservationist, Rangeland Management Specialist, Agronomist, Soil Scientist, and Civil or Agricultural Engineers. The Career Intern Program will prepare exceptional men and women who have diverse professional experiences, academic training, and competencies for careers in public service. Interns will participate in a two-year program that is designed to fine tune their skills and abilities. This is a full time position with full benefits. At the end of the two-year period, successful employees may be placed in career or career-conditional positions with the agency. The purpose of the program is to provide the agency with a cadre of skilled individuals to fill more responsible positions in the sciences and in administrative/professional areas at the end of the internships.
