Turtle River State Park, Grand Forks County
Description: Conservation education camps geared to 7th grade
students.
Sponsored By: The camp is funded with 319 funds from EPA, and
coordinated by Grand Forks County Soil Conservation District. This program
is possible through the partnership with many organizations including: ND Forest
Service, US Fish & Wildlife, NRCS, Grand Forks Public Schools, Grand Forks Water
Treatment Plant, ND Game & Fish, Grand Forks County Extension Service, Altru
Ambulance Service, and local volunteers.
