Earth Day Celebration

:  One World One Chance
Description
:  This event is the first of its nature in the Bismarck-Mandan area.  This will be a front runner to the 40th anniversary celebration in 2010.  Earth Day was created to remind us of our shared responsibility to protect our natural resources and to inspire awareness of and appreciation for the Earth's fragile environment. 
This community-wide event features activities for all ages such as an energy light bulb, recyclable bag, and tree giveaway; hands-on activities; guest speakers; recycling Olympics; poster and essay contests; and a featured exhibit area.
