Conservation Planning Program (CPP) Pilot

Sign-up begins October 3, 2005 - November 18, 2005

What is the Conservation Planning Program (CPP) Pilot?  The CPP is really not a new program at all, NRCS has always developed conservation plans for all interested operators or landowners and will continue to do so after the pilot is completed.

A conservation plan is a customized document that outlines the use and best management practices of the natural resources on land you own and/or operate.  The plan you receive will be an excellent tool for your farm or ranch which will include high quality aerial photos, soils and topography maps, as well as resource information that will be in an easy-to-use format.  A conservation plan can result in more viable and productive land, earning the farmer/rancher a higher income.

Signing up for a CPP plan will give you the opportunity to help decide what resource concerns you would like to have evaluated and you will choose how, what, and when to implement your choices.

The CPP Pilot is being offered to the following counties in North Dakota:

Grand Forks County
Grand Forks County

Stark County
Stark/Billings County

Walsh County
