2003 EQIP Accomplishments and Documents

2003 Accomplishments:

In 2003, North Dakota agricultural producers communicated their willingness to conserve natural resources on their private working lands.  Two thousand ten applicants requested technical and financial assistance from NRCS to complete conservation practices on their lands.  A total of $28,138,000 in EQIP financial assistance was requested to address conservation needs on 1,216,100 acres of agricultural lands.

North Dakota NRCS was allocated approximately $13,140,000 to assist agricultural producers in achieving their conservation goals on 386,000 acres of private lands.  Six hundred fifty four applicants were successful in securing funding.
